Imagine the future. You drive to work, go into your office, drive to lunch, back to the office, and finally home... and you do this without ever reaching in your pocket for your car keys. Now, you get home and attempt to open your front door, only to realize that it isn't as smart as your car and that you are going to have to dig into your pockets for the first time all day in order to grab a key.
Solution: biometric door locks.
Biometric door locks operate by sensing your fingerprints (or knuckle-prints for those of you sensitive about fingerprints) and then following pre-programmed rules to allow or deny access. Want to allow your in-laws unlimited access while you're on vacation and reject them afterwords? No problem! The lock will even keep their prints in memory and tell you when they tried to access.
If the fact that some of these devices allow for a record of all access attempts isn't enough to sell you on my desire for a biometric door lock, then I'm not exactly sure what will. If you are interested, however, take a look at Amazon. They have plenty of models to choose from. I know I'll be heading there soon to pick mine out, and maybe one day I'll grant you access to come in, sit down, and let me tell you just how much I love my biometric door lock.
